AIDA

History

AIDA was conceived during the HepVis 99 workshop at Orsay and initially developed by a group of interested parties over the next year. Starting in January 2001 a more concerted effort was begun to agree on and document a standard set of interfaces. To this end a series of workshops were organized:

January 2001 - Paris/Orsay - Attendees: Guy Barand, Pavel Binko, Mark D?nzselmann, Tony Johnson,  Andreas Pfeiffer.

April 2001 - Boston (preceeding HepVis 2001) - Attendees: Guy Barand, Mark D?nzselmann, Tony Johnson,  Andreas Pfeiffer.

A presentation at HepVis 2001 summarizes the current status.
